I try to put in glaze tests in each firing. I had 8 in this kiln. Out of those, two are definitely keepers.

Those face jugs are intense! And I love the blue drippy treatment on the bowl. - JEN

ReplyDeleteTop photo with face jug in center......I would pick the second to the right. It looks blue to me or a turquoise/teal color.....awesome. The tan vase with the blue drippings isn't too shabby either..........JB

ReplyDeleteJB - That is Shaner Oribe which did turn out nice in the soda. The other is a Blue Ash (50% PV and 50% wood ash with 2.5% cobalt carbonate) over Salt Yellow.
I also really like the bowl above the dragon dish.
